THE IMPORTANCE OF THE ROLE OF PARENTS USE CHILD CANCER

For children with cancer, the role of parents is very important. Parents must know how to accompany and deal with cancer in children both physically and psychology.

Children's Oncology Foundation Indonesia (ICCF) along Kramat RS 128 held a public seminar entitled An increase in the role of parents in Mentoring Children with cancer. This seminar was held on Saturday (31/03) in the waiting room floor clinic 2 RS Kramat 128.

The seminar was attended by approximately 80 parents and children with cancer. Dr. Hardini Intan Setiawati, SP. A-Onk became one of the speakers in the event. A specialist children's HOSPITAL Oncology Kramat 128 These convey how important family support for children with cancer.

In addition to dr. Haridini this seminar is also filled by Dr. Dr. Tjhin Wiguna SP. k. j. who delivered the material related psychosocial support of cancer on the child and his family. Psychosocial support is especially important for children with cancer and their families. Family environment and community must jointly provide positive support for young cancer patients in order to live his life with better.

The seminar, which lasted for about two hours, it also comes with a nutritional healthy materials for intellect children of cancer patients. This material was delivered by Dr. Dr. Tinuk Great Meilany, Sp. A (K).

In the seminar also became the arena of child cancer patients and their families to share experiences with other families. They also share stories and motivations in support and assist children with cancer.
